BELIEVE….HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

The holiday season can be a time of reflections, traditions and faith. Our families and faith influence our holiday experiences from Chanukah to Kwanzaa, Christmas and Santa Clause. Faith is defined as a strong belief in someone or something. The holidays are a time to believe. Throughout our lives, it is easy to lose focus and lose sight of our goals.

At some point and to one degree or other, we have all thought about giving up. No matter what the task is at hand, we may get to the point where we can no longer see the light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to persevere and make it past the finish line.

Remember, you are not alone in this journey. A recent phone call that I had received from a production company, reminded me how one opportunity can make all your dreams come true. We are all just a phone call away from our wish fulfillment. Along my life’s journey, it occurred to me that I allowed my momentum to slow down. This holiday season I would like to share a quote from Audrey Hepburn: “Nothing is impossible. The word it self says: I’m possible.”

What we think, we become. The key is to never give up. Winston Churchill failed sixth grade. Henry Ford had five failed business attempts until he founded the Ford Motor Company. J.K. Rowling was on government aid, and could barely afford to feed her baby in 1994, just three years before the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone, was published.

This holiday and New Year is the time to set goals and do whatever it takes to achieve them.   To believe is simply accepting something as true. Remember, if you can dream it, you can do it.
